The rapidly advanced “innovation and globalization” in the last half of the 20th century have drastically changed, and continue to change, the world economic and security order. They have brought not only remarkable growth and prosperity to many countries, but also serious challenges.MIGA was established to contribute to solutions of such challenges through the proposals to mitigate various economic risks, to stabilize the global security environment, to take full advantage of further technological innovations, and to help manage global companies in the changing environment.Meaningful contributions require an integration of academic, business and policymaking sectors beyond national borders. Such integration is also critical for Japan to continue to operate as a viable and respected player in the ever –advancing “innovation and globalization.” MIGA seeks to contribute to such activities.Mission Statement of Musashino Institute for Global Affairs　20世紀後半から加速度的に進行した技術革新とグローバリゼーションによって、世界の経済秩序・安全保障秩序は大きく変わってきました。これにより、多くの国で経済的繁栄がもたらされる一方、経済および安全保障の両面において様々な問題が生じています。　国際総合研究所（MIGA)は、このような世界の情勢を踏まえ、世界が持続可能な成長を通じ平和と繁栄を享受するために、さまざまな経済リスクの制御、外交・安全保障環境の安定化、さらなる技術革新とその制御、グローバルな企業経営の規律などの諸問題の解決策の提言を行います。　これらの諸課題は、国の枠組みを超えた知恵の結集が切望されている課題でもあります。また、今後ますますグローバル化が進む中、日本が孤立化を避け、経済的・知的に世界の有力な一翼を担い続けるためには、日本と世界との交流を活発化するための基盤を強化することが不可欠です。MIGAは、そのような基盤を提供することを目指します。武蔵野大学 国際総合研究所の目的
