【IMPORTANT NOTICE】University response to the lifting of the current State of Emergency and the resumption of classes
The State of Emergency covering Tokyo at present will be lifted on Sunday 20 June 2021. However, some restrictions on movement and activity will remain.
Under the revised restrictions, classes which are designated as face-to-face classes in the syllabus will resume from Monday, 21 June. (Classes designated as online classes will continue as online for the time being.) In doing so, we will continue to give the greatest consideration to the health and wellbeing of all students and staff.
Please refer to the recent notification sent via MUSCAT in 16 June, for details. There may be additional notifications from teaching staff regarding the circumstances of particular classes. Please check MUSCAT and your emails regularly for the latest information.
The following guidelines will be in place for activities on both campuses from 21 June 2021.
|Entry to campus||Entry to campus remains subject to the usual guidelines and protocols as outlined previously, including temperature checks at campus entrances. Students are reminded to bring your student card which will be required to record your attendance. Please observe the protocols as outlined previously in the Guidelines|
|Office hours (administration)||From 21 June, office hours will return to usual times (8:45am-5:00pm) however, we recommend you continue to make enquiries by email or phone where possible, in the ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of the virus.|
