[IMPORTANT NOTICE]The conduct of classes commencing in the second semester, 2021
You may be aware of news reports that the Japanese Government has extended the current State of Emergency (SoE) in Tokyo and surrounding prefectures until 30 September 2021. As the second semester is due to start on 24 September, under the State of Emergency, we wish to advise the classes will be conducted under the following conditions.
|Entry to and attendance on campus|
|All other enquiries and access|
Here at Musashino University we continue to monitor the situation and keep our community informed. We do this with three key points in mind:
- doing all we can to minimize the risk of infection to students and staff
- continuing to uphold our social responsibility to observe the necessary measures to minimize the spread of infection in here in Tokyo and the region, and
- continuing to ensure that in these times we can deliver the very best educational opportunities to our students under these conditions
While it is disappointing that we commence the new semester under these conditions, we also accept we need to do all we can to avoid risk of infection now, so that we can look towards resuming classes and campus life as the semester progresses. Once again, we seek your understanding of these matters and appreciate your cooperation as we work together to overcome these adverse circumstances.
