While the number of cases in Tokyo appears to be decreasing, medical experts are warning of the possibility of a sixth wave of infection as winter approaches, so we must continue to remain vigilant for some time as variants of the virus such as Delta continue to emerge along with so-called ‘breakthrough’ infections among the vaccinated population.
We ask for your ongoing cooperation and understanding of these circumstances and that you observe all the necessary guidelines as we resume classes and campus life.
