Student Exchange Program (Incoming)

Musashino University recruits students for its Student Exchange Program twice a year.
Recruitment information is sent to partner universities in late September of the previous year for spring admissions
and in late March of the same year for fall admissions.
For any inquiries related to the application and other relevant matter, please consult the person in charge of the program at your university.

Application Criteria (Undergraduate)

1. Affiliation

Language Center (Ariake Campus)
Musashino University Language Center offers classes on not only Japanese language, but also Japanese culture and communication. It has a specialized syllabus for Student Exchange Program participants that teaches Japanese language and about Japan in classes designed for each level.
You can experience unique classes at Musashino University, which has welcomed numerous exchange students.
Depending on your language proficiency level and expertise, you can also take classes in other departments with regular students.

Students who meet the following requirements can take other courses  in addition to Language Center courses.

Requirements:
Can submit one of the following certificates during the application:
TOEFL iBT 61 or above; IELTS Academic 5.5 or above; TOEIC 700 or above; CEFR B2 or above

Based on the exchange agreement.

3. Program Period

Half year or Full year

4. Tuition 

Based on the exchange agreement.

5. Accommodation

Those who are interested will be provided information on the international dormitory and the private dormitory for students.

6. Other 

- The university will specify the date for coming to Japan once you have been accepted.
- Students in a graduate school at one of our partner universities cannot be accepted as undergraduate students at Musashino University. 
- Recommendations cannot be provided for those who will no longer be registered at the partner university before the end of the exchange period at Musashino University. 
(Second- and third-year undergraduate students as of arrival in Japan are preferred.)

Exchange Students are affiliated with the Language Center. 
Participants in graduate school are part of the Language Center, but they also take specialized courses.

N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

The number of students accepted is based on the exchange agreement.

The tuition is based on the exchange agreement.

Those who are interested will be provided information on the private dormitory for students.
