Overview of Study

1st
year
With“ Musashino BASIS” curriculum, students develop their fundamental academic skills before progressing to more specialized subjects. Students are required to complete English and Chinese subjects and improve their language ability in order to be able to conduct business in an international environment.
2nd
year
In a compulsory subject, “Global Studies ”, students study topics in global issues and acquire cross-cultural communication and adaptive skills.
3rd
year
By identifying a desired career path, students choose seminars and classes to take after consulting with teaching staff. Seminars offer deep and close instruction by our teaching staff who have rich experience in global business.
4th
year
The seminar students chose in the third year continues into the fourth year, in which they learn how to identify problems, develop and verify hypotheses, and establish solutions. Students write a graduation thesis to finalize their studies.

Start with Freshmen who have TOEIC® 700

Freshmen in the Department of Global Business took a TOEIC® IP test(April, 2 016). Their average score was 691, which meets companies’ expectations for the overseas business division(655~865)※ Some students increased their TOEIC® score by 285 points after 3 months. Students will learn business and management in Japan and world in English from teachers who are experienced in the business.

Students learn microeconomics and macroeconomics. These link to more advanced topics and specialized skills in both language and business.

Students learn law, economics, finance and practical English in global trading by reviewing specific cases.

Management

Students learn what it means to manage various aspects of a business. Students study the thought process and framework to improve problem solving and decision-making skills.

Marketing-in

Marketing in Global Business

Marketing is a core strategy, but it is also the process of creating value for customers. Students will understand basic concepts and implement marketing plans.
