Global Project

Faculty-wide course

In this course, students take on research topics in teams which consist of Japanese and overseas students. Each team comes up with their own ideas, makes a plan, carries out field work, and gives a presentation. The top projects are announced at the Reimei Festival (University Festival). This project is carried out by students from many different cultures and is an opportunity to gain skills such as understanding different cultures, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and advanced communication skills.

Business presentations in practical subjects such as corporate overviews, product & service description internal communication and research announcements.

Business Economics

Students learn microeconomics and macroeconomics. These link to more advanced topics and specialized skills in both language and business.

Global Trading

Students learn laws, economics, finance and practical English in global trading through reviewing specific cases.

Students learn what it means to manage various aspects of a business. Students will study the thought process and framework to improve problem-solving and decision-making skills.

What are the keys to success in today’s global economy? In the Department of Global Business, we are enhancing communication and analytical competency through English proficiency, cross-cultural understanding, and critical thinking. Studying with students who possess diverse backgrounds, using English as a Lingua Franca, in year one, you will acquire the academic s kills required to widen your horizon and understanding through Musashino University’s liberal arts tradition. You will also attain proficiency in two second languages: English, Japanese, or Chinese. In year two and beyond, you will learn and apply essential fields in business, such as marketing, strategy, accounting, and management. As a capstone, you will develop a graduation project under the supervision of faculty members. Lastly, encountering students from many countries in small-group classes at our campus in Tokyo, you will not only enjoy your study but also engage in international communication everyday.
