Having graduated from the Department of Global Business at Musashino University, I embarked on a transformative journey applying my acquired knowledge in the dynamic realm of Amazon Japan since 2021. Initially, I served as a claim investigator, leveraging my academic foundation to meticulously analyze and resolve claims within the company's operations. This role honed my skills in strategic problem-solving and effective communication, essential for upholding Amazon Japan's standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.
Transitioning into my current position as a workforce management analyst in product, safety & compliance function from October 2022 onwards, I have continued to thrive. Drawing upon my understanding of global business principles, I ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing workforce efficiency in real-time scenarios. By employing data analytics and forecasting techniques, I proactively identify and mitigate risks, contributing to Amazon Japan's commitment to maintaining operational excellence and safety standards.
My journey from claim investigator to workforce management analyst exemplifies the interdisciplinary approach fostered by the Global Business Department's curriculum. The department equipped me with the necessary skills to navigate complex business environments and adapt to evolving challenges. Furthermore, studying alongside peers from diverse cultural backgrounds enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a global context.
My experience underscores the invaluable role of the Department of Global Business in preparing graduates for success in today's interconnected world. Without the solid foundation provided by my studies, I would not have been able to excel in my roles at Amazon Japan, and I am grateful for the opportunities it has afforded me.
