Swoniga Shrestha

IT consultant, DXC Technology, Japan

(Graduated from MU in 2021)

I have been working at DXC Technology Japan after graduating from the Department of Global Business at Musashino University. I was hired as a new graduate, went through company training to learn core values of DXC, and inherited the IT skills required to provide exceptional client service. After the training, I joined the delivery team for ServiceNow, a SaaS product, as a support member for multiple projects. I helped the team with administrative ServiceNow configurations and tested them thoroughly for product release.

In my second year, I was entrusted with leading a project for a globally recognized insurance firm and a Japanese automotive company. This opportunity expanded my expertise in project and team management. I established strong relationships not only with my clients and project members but also with the client’s vendors, facilitating a high level of collaboration among each stakeholder and ensuring the successful project completion.

Currently, in my third year, I am thriving in my dual role as a project coordinator and developer. I skillfully manage various project administrative tasks while playing a key role in product implementation. My meticulous attention to detail ensures that the configuration performed on the client’s cloud SaaS platform is thoroughly documented and tested before their launch. I also spearhead multiple weekly meetings with teams in DXC and with our outsourced teams and service vendors, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on project progress, potential issues, and collaborative solutions. I am eager to continue learning and embrace every opportunity that comes my way. Musashino University provided me with a unique environment that blended knowledge and experience. Through hard work, I honed my skills and prepared for the future.
