MISSION STATEMENT

The rapidly advanced “innovation and globalization” in the last half of the 20th century have drastically changed, and continue to change, the world economic and security order. It has brought not only remarkable growth and prosperity to many countries, but also serious challenges.

Having this in mind, MIGA is established to contribute to the solutions of such challenges through the proposals to mitigate various economic risks, to stabilize the global security environment, to take full advantage of further technological innovations, and to help managing global companies in the changing environment.

Meaningful contributions require an integration of academic, business and policymaking sectors beyond national borders. Such integration is also critical for Japan to continue to operate as an viable and respected player in the ever-advancing days of “innovation and globalization.” MIGA seeks to contribute in such activities.
